The Seventh Annual "Dance for Life" Benefit will be held Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at the West Union Event Center in West Union, Iowa (formerly Echo Valley Banquet Center). 

The annual fundraiser was started by the Darwin "Lefty" Schrage family in memory of Barb Schrage who fell victim to ovarian cancer on March 4, 2011. The event continues to raise thousands of dollars each year needed for ovarian cancer research.

Several popular Northeast Iowa bands will be on hand to perform continuous live music beginning at 1:00 PM. The Event Center sports a spacious dance floor, ample seating, food, and a cash bar. A crowd-favorite Silent Auction is scheduled throughout the day.

The fundraiser is held annually in memory of Barb Schrage who fell victim to ovarian cancer on March 4, 2011. 

Six popular Northeast Iowa bands performed live music for dancing and listening beginning at 1:00 PM. The venue includes a silent auction, a spacious dance floor and ample seating in addition to food and a cash bar. A crowd of 400-500 people attended making this a very successful event seven years in a row.
